Plain terms for the way we quote, book, warranty, and fit your car, so you know exactly what to expect when you book with Pro Tint Adelaide.

About these terms
These terms apply to quotes, bookings, and the window tinting we carry out at our Elizabeth Downs workshop, and to your use of this website. By requesting a quote or booking your car in with us, you agree to them.
They are written as a plain-language summary of how we work, and they are a general guide rather than legal advice. Nothing here takes away any rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Quotes and price matching
Pro Tint Adelaide is a window tinting specialist, and we quote every car individually. We do not publish a fixed price list, because the right price depends on your vehicle, whether you choose Jet Black Metalised or Nano Ceramic film, and how many windows you are tinting. You can request a quote online or over the phone and we will come back with a personalised price.
We also price match. Show us a genuine written quote for the same work and we will match it, which excludes pre-2000 vehicles and camper vans. We confirm the final price with you before any work begins, so there are no surprises on the day.
Bookings and your deposit
We work by appointment from a home workshop, so your car goes straight in rather than sitting in a queue. Once your quote is confirmed you can book an appointment by phone or through the website, and we will lock in a time that suits.
A $100 deposit secures your booking and comes off your total on the day. It can be paid by card over the phone, in person by cash or card, or by PayID. The deposit is non-refundable if you miss your appointment or reschedule without enough notice, because the time we set aside for your car is time we cannot offer to someone else. Please arrive on time with the car reasonably clean and clear of personal items so we can start on schedule.
Payment
We accept Cash, EFTPOS, EFT, PayID, Afterpay. The balance is due when the work is finished and you are happy with it.
There is no online shop or checkout on this website. Everything is arranged with us directly, so you always know exactly what you are paying and why.
Lifetime warranty
Every tint we fit is backed by a lifetime warranty, recorded against your car, so the film stays covered for as long as you own the vehicle. It covers the film against defects such as bubbling, peeling, cracking, or excessive fading, on quality film and quality workmanship we stand behind.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by an accident, misuse, incorrect aftercare, or ordinary wear over time. We are happy to walk you through what is covered before you book.
Our workmanship and aftercare
We custom cut and fit every window, with no gaps at the top or bottom, and we stand behind the quality of our installation. If you believe there is a fault with our workmanship, contact us and give us a fair opportunity to inspect the car and put it right.
Following the aftercare advice we give you matters to the result and to any warranty claim. That includes leaving your freshly tinted windows up for the curing period we tell you about, and cleaning the film gently once it has cured.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for the work is limited to re-performing it or refunding the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in your vehicle, such as scratches, chips, or worn demister lines already present before we start. Where we notice a fault like this, we will point it out to you before beginning work.
Governing law and contact
