How it started, back in 2010
Pro Tint Adelaide opened in 2010, and it has been a family business the whole way. Troy is a fully qualified window tinter with more than 16 years behind the film. After years in the trade he saw the same thing over and over: good people paying far too much for their tint, most of it going on a flashy showroom rather than the work on the glass.
So he set things up differently. A proper home workshop in Adelaide's north, low overheads, and the saving passed straight to you. Same qualified hands, same quality film, a much friendlier price. That is the whole idea, and it has not changed since.
A two-person family business
It is just the two of us. Maybellene works alongside Troy, tinting cars day in and day out, so when you book with Pro Tint Adelaide you deal with the same people from the first message to the day you drive away. No call centre, no salesperson, no job handed off to a stranger.

Custom cut, no gaps, warranted for life
Tinting a car properly takes real training. The glass is prepped with care, every panel is cut to your exact car, and the rear screen is heat-shrunk to its curve so the film sits flat. On every job that means no gaps at the top or bottom of the glass, just a clean, factory-tidy finish.
We keep it simple and do it well, with two films to choose from: our Jet Black Metalised tint for a sharp, value finish, or Nano Ceramic for the highest heat rejection and a cooler cabin. Both go on all windows except the windscreen and any sunroof, and both are backed by our lifetime warranty, covered for as long as you own the car.

Adelaide gives cars some of the harshest sun in the country, and that is exactly what good tint is built for. Quality film knocks back the heat that bakes a parked cabin, blocks the UV that dries out and fades your dash, seats and trim, and cuts the glare that tires your eyes on the drive home.
We fit a range of shades, from a lighter look through to the dark limo finish on the rear, always kept within South Australia's legal limits on the front side windows. We will talk you through what is legal and what suits your car before anything is cut, so you get the look you want and stay roadworthy.
